Frosting and imbricated processing

Leading the Glassware Frosting Industry~ Frosted Bottles ~

A gloss as if real frost were glistening ... The feel of intricate detail to the touch ...
Glassware frosting is the process of giving glass surfaces a beautiful appearance and is used on products such as cosmetic and liquor bottles.
We have been realizing a new look to frosted bottles through numerous processes and leading-edge equipment

Frosting

Frosting

In the case of former glassware-frosting techniques. there was the issue of fingerprint remnants. In order to solve this problem. we developed the Frosting, which leaves a larger area of the glass surface uneven. This restricts the surface area that the finger comes in contact with, and makes it possible for frosted bottles to hove the quality of being fingerprint resistant.

Imbricated processing

Imbricated processing

This process gives the glass surface a scale-like appearance by using groundbreaking treatment, which is a clear departure from former glassware frosting. Because of its ability to make bottles appear more luxurious, it is commonly used for high-quality liquors such as Daiginjo sake and shochu. We submitted a patent application in 1988, which was officially registered in 1994 (Patent Number 232095, International Patent Classification C03C 15/00).

Acid pickling

When glass products such as craftwork, dishes, and caps are cut and processed, the surface is left rough. For products such as these, we polish the glass surface using chemicals and retain the former translucence of the glass with the Acid Polishing Process.
